August 26, 1951 Retired Northwest Airlines Flight Attendant Married 2 1969
Graduated in spite of algebra,  attended
UNO for 2 years. .  or so,   worked  a
few secretarial jobs, but, the one that
changed my life was Lakefront Flying
Club. When they went out of business I
knew I wanted to fly.  I was hired by
Northwest Airlines as a Flight Attendant,
and moved to Minneapolis. I brought my
"Southern Man", a respectable Harvey
boy with me.  I was based in Chicago as
well as New York before returning to N.O.
. .  .when I was expecting my 1st child.
My husband was flying Captain for Orion
Air (started his aviation career flying
seaplanes in the Harvey Canal).  It was
after my 2nd child, I put my wings away.
Bill was hired as an Airline Captain/Check
Airman for UPS, we moved to Jupiter, FL.
I have a daughter in High School, and son,
24 who is a pilot, musician and surfer.  OK,
he likes to prioritize it in the reverse.  We
visit New Orleans regularily; it will always be
HOME.  Looking forward to seing everyone.

November 04, 1951 Personal Trainer Committed Relationship 1 1969
After high school I went to work as a secretary and worked in the oil and gas industry for 25 years.  I married my high school sweetheart Brice "Pinkey" Hatchett in 1971 and we had one son born in 1975.  He lives in Mandeville and is an electrical engineer.  I have one grandson age 3.   After 31 years of marriage Brice died suddenly and I experienced a major life changing experience.  However, I'm happy to say that I'm currently in a relationship with Harold Sill (a '69 grad) for 5 years.  We were reconnected through a mutual friend after 35 years of not seeing each other.  We both share our passion for health and fitness and are self-employed as Personal Trainers.
Thanks to Scott and Robert and all those putting this reunion together.  I'm looking forward to seeing old friends.

November 04, 1950 jaysterling.com Married 2 1968
After Kennedy, I went to Southeastern. Then moved to California where I lived and traveled "on the road" with various musical groups, Pat Boone, Debbie Boone, Bobby Vinton and others. After getting off "the road", I got involved with a band leader who was very well connected. He booked his musical groups for both corporate and private events as well as TV & movice rap parties. It was great fun and about 35 years ago, I took over where he left off and am still involved in that same business- mostly in L.A.

While on the road, I met my beautiful wife, Brenda and we have 2 great kids. And at this point we are empty nesters.

Don't know if you remember the Jesus Movement in California in the 70's. I was part of that. Beautiful!!! Still going strong.

I sure hope to see many of my friends from JFK at the reunion.

April 18, 1951 Engineer Married 3
After working and living in Belgium, Netherlands, France and 5 Pacific Rim countries I've returned to the N.O. area. How bizarre. Janell, my bride was the Jefferson Parish "Teacher of the Year" last year - quite an honor, and I am the current Grand Bayou Race Series "Racer of the Year". It's not too late to keep achieving great goals. Send Allan a MessageSend Allan a Message

H/W retired Married 2 1969
After graduation went to work for State Farm Ins...met my husband, Harold, of 44yrs while there....I've also worked as Pharmay Tech. and substituted for Jefferson Parrish Public Schools Special Ed.  Had 1 beautiful, blonde, blue eye Special Angel, Cherie Michelle, born Oct 5, 1971, found out when she was 2 yrs that she had brain damage, probably during delivery: about 2 yrs later my older sister passed away after 9 mos. fighting Leukemia, she had 1 daughter, Donielle, who came to live with us at the age of 8. She graduated from Chapell HSin '85, later  got married and went to work for Continental Airlines for over 20 yrs., then onto USAir.    She blessed us with 2 beautiful grandaughters: Miranda  23 yrs. and Madison 21 yrs...  In "86 my Father passed away after suffering for over 10 yrs. from ALS. After this my mother came to live with us and we moved to Mobile, Al. in "92 when Harold was transfered for his job with Mobil Oil....In 2000 when Exxon/Mobile merged Harold retired. My Mother came with us when we transfered and Cherie was in a good adult program so we decided to retire here. In  Jan. 2009 my mother passed away from a massive stroke and then we lost Cherie to pneumonia in Feb 2010.  Those 2 yrs are blur to me....So we downsized and decided to stay.  Harold and I have been lucky health wish until this last summer; I had rotator cuff surgery in june 2014 which they couldn't repair, then in July 2014 Harold had tripple by-pass surgery...Both doing well still can't lift my right arm for long periods which messed with my hobby of making wreaths....this I miss greatly...Guess this was too much info but we get back to N.O. occassionally to visit family, sorry we missed the reunion, hopefully and the Good Lord willling we'll make the 50th....we attended Harold's 50 in 2011 for Aloysius/Brother Martin....Hope all had a good time....Best to All, Debbie

That picture is the only one I have from high school, thanks to Katrina.  If you can share any others -- from Bradley, Capdau or Kennedy --contact me.  I'd also love to see copies of The Courier.  And does anyone have an extra yearbook?
My husband and I now live in Lake Terrace (buy high), along with a handful of other '69 Cougars.  Michael and I have been married 25 years.  Our daughter Katie, 24, is a graduate assistant in English at UNO.  Our son Mickey, 22, returns to school this fall as a physics major.  They are my greatest accomplishments.
I have lunch most Saturdays with fellow alums, such as Janine Trosclair, along with her mom, Jacqueline, who has adopted us all.  There's always room at the table.  Can't wait to see everyone.
